MI Choice – Senior Resources (seniorresourceswmi.org)
This program participate in the MI Choice program which is a Medicaid-funded program that provides services to help a frail older adult or person with disabilities remain living in their own home or chosen place of residence. Services include adult day care, homemaking, personal care, respite care, and emergency response systems.

MI Choice Medicaid Waiver – Reliance Community Care Partners (relianceccp.org)
Another participant in the MI Choice Medicaid Waiver program funded through the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services (MDHHS) to provide in-home and community-based services to frail, elderly or physically disabled adults who would otherwise require nursing home care.

How much does assisted living cost?
This all depends on the individual based on two criteria: Level of care assessment and room style that is chosen.
Do you require a lease?
We required that all residents sign a contract upon admission. If family decides to move, we require a 30-day notice prior to discharge. Furthermore, we offer respite for short-terms stays (2-week minimum).
Do You Allow Pets?
No pets are allowed to live in our facility. However, families are welcomed to bring their pets while they visit.
How many staff members do you have and do you screen them?
We have around 55 staff members & our screening process requires pre-screening phone interviews, followed by in-person interviews with department heads, and background checks through the State of Michigan.
What happens if I need assistance in the middle of the night?
Robbinswood’s Wellness team is on 24/7 where we consistently monitor our call-light system if a resident were to ring for assistance, and rounding the hallways to monitor all residents and their care needs.
What happens if Mom wanders?
Here at Robbinswood, we have a Wanderguard system in place. All doors are alarmed and monitored.
Can you care for someone with dementia?
Yes, we have two licensed memory care units that are staffed 1:6 residnets to ensure that your loved one is safely cared for.
What happens if my Dad needs Hospice Care?
Robbinswood is a licensed Home for the Aged, where we are able to care for Dad till the end of life without ever having to move.
What types of meals do you serve? Can my loved one eat in their room?
All our meals are home-made, with new menus being created monthly. We consider coming down for meals such an important social time for all residents. We encourage all residents to come down to our dining room for all meals. However, if they are sick, they are to be served in their room.
